Our second year exhibiting at the MNC camping show in Wauchope was a whole new level for Twelve! Just weeks prior, we found a 1976 Millard Caravan on Facebook Marketplace and decided within minutes that we were going to buy it, renovate it and turn it into an off grid powerhouse! 

For 8 weekends in a row, we cursed ourselves for such an idea as the project took up every inch of our spare time (as most renovations do)! In a last ditch effort (1 day prior to the show) we finally finished & it honestly turned out better than we could have expected! Wow! 

The feedback from visitors to our site was SO great & they absolutely loved our interactive “off grid” display in the caravan! We also had the NSW REDARC vehicle on site and a classic 1978 Nissan Patrol which had been fitted with an INVICTA Hybrid lithium battery that was running a 40L Engel fridge in the tray. 

This display was a real head turner and the conversations around lithium batteries were informative and heavily focused around safety and reliability!
