Caravan Electrical Upgrade

"As we headed north of Sydney we noticed the brake controller wasn’t performing as expected. I have previously used and liked a Redarc controller so googled Redarc in Port Macquarie. As luck would have it, we found Twelve. Brandon and Mitch agreed a new Redarc would be a great solution. As we got talking, we found out Twelve did everything 12v for both cars and vans.

We then embarked on a major refit of both, with the car solar rewired. We had a problem with the 360 degree camera on the van that was fixed. We also upgraded the van solar system to include some 950W of panels feeding two 200AH Zeal Lithium batteries which in turn feeds a 3000W Redarc inverter.

What a system! It works seamlessly and provides us with the flexibility to be off grid indefinitely (subject to water).

The reason we chose Twelve is that the more we talked to them and saw their personalised service, technical expertise and professional workmanship, the more confident and comfortable we became to take our setup further.

Initially the work was carried out on the car and van separately. Issues that arose when the two were connected were resolved without fuss.
